A RADICAL new electric concept car looks like a modified Tesla Model X full of features, but has 400-mile range on a single charge.
A start-up of an electric car has revealed its new concept car that looks promising. Human Horizons, the premium electric car brand called HiPhi and the first car ‘1’ with a number of intriguing design elements. First, the exterior looks straight through the Model X with some Falcon Wing-inspired doors with the upper part attached to the roof facing the middle. However, the entire door is not attached and the rear doors open opposite to the front like on a Rolls Royce.
It is not only seemingly inspired by Tesla on the outside, but also on the inside with the large screen dominating.
The screen in the middle, however, floats away from the dashboard and is at an angle of 45 degrees under an angle of the roof.
There is also a full screen behind the driver that looks like the MBUX system that Mercedes has used, as well as an extra large screen mounted where the glovebox usually lives.
The center console also seems to be made of brushed aluminum and the car looks like a six-seater, with three pairs of seats.
It is equipped with a number of sensors and the world’s first Human Oriented Architecture (HOA), which adapts itself and learns to create diversified solutions that will improve the user experience. “
The vehicle is powered by a 96kWh battery pack that has ‘up to 400 km range’ after a single charge.
Take this stat with a pinch of salt, because this is reportedly on the outdated NEDC system.
The car can also sprint from 0-62 mph in just 3.9 seconds using the dual motor drive.
The company recently purchased an old Kia plant to install it afterwards and build the HiPhi 1 by 2021.
Firstly, the car will initially be made available only to Chinese buyers, but it could produce vehicles worldwide over time.
